American Dad and the Texting Song

Receiving a call from Twentieth Century Fox asking to use my song the Texting Song was a pretty fantastic moment in the life of a songwriter like me. The song was used for more than a minute in a pretty hilarious scene if you are a fan of the show or of people who text far too much.

Here is a link to a pretty funny video I put together a number of years ago for the song I wrote that was used in the American Dad Season finale. My wife managed to convince Mr Lahey and Randy from the Trailer Park Boys to be in the video pretending to text. Check out Mr. Lahey's moves. Later that night, we took Peter Dunsworth (Lahey) skydiving and then hung out in seedy bars till the wee hours talking about the world. A fantastic night and one not easily forgotten.
